James 4:1-6 – Lust will draw us to God or drive us from Him; it will make Him a friend or foe.

James 4:7-10 – Grace given is activated as we draw near to God.

James 2 – Faith & works: “the absence of evidence could be the evidence of absence!”

James 3 – The tongue: “Tongue control begins with heart cleansing.”

James 2:1-13 –“ Partiality needs the eyes of Jesus to see beyond the surface into the heart”

From a missions trip – “encouragement comes from deeds as well as words and results in renewed doing”

• From James 1:26,27 – “Real religion is being like Jesus”

• James 5:13 – “Church cheerfulness is expressed by chanting and other types of singing”

James 1:3-5 – Trials required attitude adjustment.

James 1:12 – courage, commitment, and completion in trials bring the crown of life.

Matthew 6:9-13 – There is no greater desire or goal for an earthly dad than to be like his Heavenly Dad.

1 Corinthians 4:2 – Graduation is a new step to faithfulness: walk on!
